Cottontail in Sweetpea
Cottontail in Sweetpea
It was on the tail end of a long car trip through south Georgia when I figured out where bunnies came from. Every now and then, between the peanut farms and peach orchards, we’d cruise past a big white swatch of cotton–a veritable bushy-tailed breeding ground. It made perfect sense that bunnies popped out from cotton sprigs; weren’t their tails made of the stuff. Considering I believed that babies came from cabbage patches (and not much was done to deter the idea), this was a short leap.
